Condition:

Framed: 88 by 122.5cm., 34? by 48¼in. The canvas is unlined. UV examination reveals no evidence of retouching. Artist's pinholes are visible in all four corners and at the extreme edges. The paint surface is unvarnished. There are some small areas of paint shrinkage, predominantly in the blue and green pigment in the lower left corner and a few faint lines of craquelure. There is evidence of slight frame abrasion including two small losses to the lower left and upper right corners, which are not visible when the work is framed. The work is in good condition. Condition 11 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
